Standing in a small cell, Chris Brody is confronted by his jailor who announces it is his duty to describe the tortures that will be inflicted upon his lean, muscular body. Chris listens in horror as the man describes electrical shocks, flogging, long-term pain positions, crucifixion and hours on the rack.
